How do I verify my identity?

Preparation

• You have a smartphone available
• You are in a quiet, well-lit environment  
• You have a valid passport or ID card (a driving licence or residence permit is not allowed).  

Here's what you need to do:  

Web:

1. Log in via the website
2. Start the verification on the verification page 
3. Select the type of document that you want to use
4. Select issuing country
   
5. Get a secure link by scanning the QR code with the camera on your smartphone or get the link via SMS
6. Follow the steps on your smartphone
7. When the upload is successful, go to the website again
8. Submit the verification on the website
9. You will receive an email when the verification is processed

App:

1. Log in via the LiteBit app
2. Start the verification 
3. Select the type of document that you want to use
4. Follow the steps on your smartphone
5. Submit the verification in the app
6. You will receive an email when the verification is processed
