What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is European privacy legislation, which has been applicable throughout the European Union (EU) since 25th of May 2018. The GDPR is about the protection of personal data. Thanks to the GDPR, the protection of personal data is regulated the same way in all EU countries and the same rules apply in every Member State. How does LiteBit handle your personal data?

In LiteBit’s Privacy Statement we explain what types of personal data we collect, why we collect such data, how we deal with personal data and what rights you have.

 

Right to erase your personal data

You have various rights under the GDPR. These can be found in our Privacy Statement. The statement also explains how you can exercise these rights. In certain situations you can ask us to delete data that we have recorded about you. We have a retention policy that states how long we keep your data. The retention period can be found in the Privacy Statement. In most cases we cannot delete your data before the retention period has expired. For example because we are required to keep your personal data for a longer period of time due to a legal obligations.

 

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file transferred by a website and stored on your device (such as your computer, mobile phone, tablet etc.). Cookies contain information that is transferred to your device.
